A year after the Merge on Gnosis we are delighted to announce that ErigonEth is fully integrated as an Execution Layer client, and ethnimbus has been added as a Consensus Layer client on Gnosis Chain. Without client diversity, the resiliency of the network would suffer and it's why the GnosisDAO invested in long-term relationships with top notch client teams from the get go.

Gnosis utilizes the same architecture as Ethereum. Client diversity is also a critical step towards extending Ethereum and contributing to the research, engineering and tooling for its tech stack.

Gnosis is an open peer-to-peer network of nodes operated by anyone in the world who runs the Gnosis client software. Gnosis started out as a proof-of-authority sidechain to Ethereum with its own consensus algorithm in 2017. Gnosis Merged successfully at block 6,306,357 on December 8th, 2022 deprecating legacy differences and aligning with Ethereum's new architecture. The Merge was the first step towards achieving the goal of 1:1 parity with Ethereum.

This week, Gnosis Co-Founder, Martin Koppelmann made it onto CoinDesk's Most Influential for 2023. The article highlights how Koppelmann is fighting to keep crypto tech on track with Gnosis. ⚖️ GnosisDAO Hires Head of Infrastructure & Head of Marketing

This week, the GnosisDAO announced two new hires for the Head of Infrastructure and Head of Marketing roles.

💶 Curve Finance & EURe on Gnosis Chain

EURe, or the euro e-money token, is issued by Monerium, a regulated Electronic Money Institution, licensed in the EEA. EURe is on Gnosis Chain and accessible on Curve Finance.

Once registered with Monerium, users gets a personal IBAN. All fiat payments to this IBAN are automatically minted as EURe tokens on Gnosis Chain. The personal IBAN makes it possible to send EURe from users wallets to traditional bank accounts, where EURe is burned and sent as fiat to any bank account. The EURe is also an important part of the Gnosis Pay stack. Click here to learn more!

🥊 Gauntlet x Gnosis Chain

Gauntlet’s research and quantitative optimization solutions drive rapid and sustainable growth for DeFi’s top protocols, DAOs, and ecosystems. This week Gauntlet released an Aave dashboard for Gnosis Chain that provides summary and account-level statistics for the Aave V3 Gnosis market.
