Starting next week we will migrate this newsletter to the Ghost newsletter platform. Recently, after Twitter throttled Substack links and marked them as unsafe, Substack made it impossible to integrate Twitter links in a publication. At the same time, Bluesky, an initiative to develop a decentralized social network protocol, and an associated social networking service, surged in popularity. It's in the air - the need for credibly neutral platforms is no longer a niche concern for peer-to-peer maximalists, it's a ubiquitous societal concern. Waking up to being de-platformed at the whim of a billionaire is not only annoying, it's a form of turnkey tyranny.

Did you know that the EURe on Gnosis Chain is regulated and programmable digital cash available across the EU, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein as $USD, $EUR, $GBP, $ISK? Using a Safe wallet, users can send and receive funds back and forth to their back account. With a signature from the wallet, the EURe is burned and sent via SEPA as a euro to any bank account. This week, Sebastien Derivaux, founder of Steakhouse Financial, tested it all out for himself with great results! 😎
